  • Green Tea Goes Scandinavian

Years of Japanese and Scandinavian tradition come together in the elegant blend. The fruit-forward notes of tart Nordic lingonberries strike a delicate balance with the refreshing green tea.

Ethiopian roots, a Scandinavian upbringing, world travel and an American come of age Ambessa's blend are a reflection of chef Marcus Samuelsson's own journey as well as his passion for world-wide culinary creativity.

A tribute to his African heritage, ‘Ambessa’ means ‘lion’ in the Amharic language and represents the traditional emblem of Ethiopia.

For Marcus, Ambessa is a way to celebrate a world of cultures, traditions and flavors. These inspired interpretations of classic tea blends are made from the most carefully selected ingredients for all over the planet.

Suggested Use

For best results, bring water to a boil and let it cool- for a couple of minutes before pouring over the sachet. Allow the tea to steep for three minutes.
