Description
SAMe (S-adenosyl-methionine) is an amino acid derivative normally synthesized in the body. SAMe is used by the body in three important pathways:
- Methylation (contributing methyl groups to activate certain molecules)
- The synthesis of polyamines (for cell growth, gene expression, neuronal regeneration, etc.)
- Trans-sulfuration (synthesis of cysteine, glutathione, and other sulfate chemicals)
Suggested Uses of SAMe 400 mg
Read the entire label and follow directions carefully prior to use.
Take one (1) SAMe 400 mg tablet two to three times daily in divided doses, preferably on an empty stomach. Take with co-factors vitamins B12, B6, and folic acid.
Other Ingredients in SAMe 400 mg
Cellulose, mannitol, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalates, citric acid, silica, stearic acid, glyceryl triacetate, sodium starch glycolate, croscarmellose sodium, titanium dioxide, yellow ochre.
SAMe 400 mg Contains corn.
This SAMe 400 mg product contains NO milk, egg, fish, peanuts, crustacean shellfish (lobster, crab, shrimp), soybeans, tree nuts, wheat, yeast, gluten or rice. SAMe 400 mg Contains NO sugar and no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors.
